CARNE ASADA

CARNE ASADA




8 ½ inch thick sirloin steaks


Marinade

1 (12 oz) bottle of beer

¾ cup orange juice

6 tbsp lemon juice

½ med onion

3 garlic cloves

1 tsp salt

1/ 2 tsp fresh ground pepper

½ tsp oregano

½ tsp brown sugar

¼ tsp cumin

¼ cup corn oil

Place all marinade ingredients in blender, not the oil, blend till smooth. Add oil in thin stream while continuing to blend. Put the marinade in a deep dish, and place steaks in it. Cover with marinade and leave overnight in fridge. Grill, serve whole or for tacos, cut into strips and grill on a flat top grill. Serve with warm tacos, sauces and guacamole.
